WITHIN YOUR TEAM
You will serve as both project and technical lead of all types of product line related issues, including product escalations, quality improvements, regulatory approvals, supplier risk mitigation and product obsolescence projects. You will lead technical assessments, execute corrective actions, and carry out validation plans in solving these challenging technical problems.
PEOPLE
· Lead cross functional teams in driving technical projects and delivering results.
· Improve engineering team technical capability by mentoring other engineers.
· Serve as SME in technical workshops, tri-storming and other problem-solving events.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree is a plus.
· 15 + years of engineering experience in product development or product maintenance of line.
· The ideal candidate will have demonstrated thorough knowledge and experience with the following:
o Small-to-medium electromechanical industrial equipment. Equipment with such components as gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, cooling fans, and solenoid valves is highly desired.
o Mechanical machine design using plastics and metals. Experience of injection molded plastic parts and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
o Creation and control of engineering drawings, including tolerancing and stack-up analysis.
o Experience with processes such as product change control, Root Cause Analysis, NPD, SOPs.
o Ability to manage and execute multiple projects with a Sense of urgency, and in a team-based environment. Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, product development lifecycle, and problem solving. Experience with Daily Management and Visual Management is a plus.
o Domestic and international travel might be required up to 10%.
