　　The Role: Staff Enterprise Security Engineer

　　The Staff Enterprise Security Engineer leads initiatives to secure Gemini's corporate infrastructure and employee endpoints. This role oversees and delivers security projects spanning multiple corporate IT and engineering teams.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Drive security initiatives such as endpoint hardening, corporate access controls, and authentication systemsProvide security expertise and guidance for corporate infrastructure projectsPerform security design reviews and risk assessments for new services and integrationsRespond to security incidents and events impacting corporate systemsPartner closely with IT and other internal teams to balance business needs with appropriate securityEvangelize and implement security best practices through education, automation, and tooling

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Significant experience in an infrastructure or enterprise security engineering roleExperience with macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android endpoint security controls and toolingKnowledge of authentication systems and protocols like SAML, OAuth, RADIUS, etc.Proficiency with scripting/coding to build security tooling and automationKnowledge of networking concepts like VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, proxies, etc.Ability to interpret and apply security standards, compliance regulations, and best practices

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with Okta, Duo, Ping, or other IAM/IDP/MFA platforms and integrationsFamiliarity with with AWS, GCP, or other cloud environments and their security best practicesExperience with Santa or similar binary authorization systemsDeep expertise in macOS system internals and hardeningParticipation in a software development lifecycle from design through deploymentStrong communication skills to socialize security guidance across functional teams

　　Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $172,000 - $241,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
