　　Team is responsible for providing AuthN and AuthZ layer for all Equinix digital products. We're working in agile environment putting our customers in the center - our focus is usability excellency, stability, and security. Products are based on modern technology stack, cloud, microservices architecture, API-first approach, micro-frontends user interface.

　　Job Summary

　　Deisgn and develop features and functionalities taking into consideration existing system landscape and both functional and non-functional requirementsDevelop end-2-end functionalities including UI, services and database layer, takes instrumental part in testing and validation procedures, deployment and documentation.Collaborate closely with Product and Security teams to discover an apply secure and performant coding practices to build robust system that meets defined SLOs.Help the team find and modifies existing software to fix bugs. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

　　Understands, reads, and reviews requirementsWorks with Product Owner and other members of product management teams to understand product requirementsParticipates in architectural review processLeads features and multiple modules design and participates in overall product designDevelops code and configs for a feature and multiple modules and productParticipates in peer reviewsDevelops unit tests, fixes defects, develops test strategies, Recommends testing frameworksSupports determining level of effort (LOE) and estimates, release management and planningInvestigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologiesInfluences senior management in setting the organization's technical objectivesKeeps abreast of new developments to help define the necessary changes to practice

　　Qualifications

　　BS in computer science or equivalent with proven years of experience preferred or MS in computer science or equivalent with proven years of experience preferred or PhD in Computer science or equivalent with proven years of experience preferred of hands on professional software development experience architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining customer facing applications at scale in an innovative engineering environmentExpertise in backend JVM applications development in cloud environments - Java/Spring preferred, experience with RDBMS (Spring Data, Hibernate ) is nice to have.Frontend development with JavaScript (with modern framework like React/Angular/Ember), HTML5/CSS3, Node.JSExperience with broad deployment stack (Kubernetes, CI/CD, secrets management, configuration management. docker, API-gateway, proxy) is nice to haveGood understanding of data modeling, relational design using RDBMSExperience with multiple architecture styles including SOA, API-first and micro-services architecturesReal-world experience with continuous integration and delivery using public cloud such as AWS, Azure or GCP and container technologies such as Docker is requiredHands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and Test-driven developmentA sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's successCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills
