Job Summary
Works with product teams, analysts and other engineers to design systems and application software, and mentor junior members of the team.
Responsibilities
Work with Product Management and other key collaborators to develop effective and efficient business solutionsResponsible for delivering solutions that meet business objectives in alignment with architectural principles & guidelinesResponsible for the design and development of user interfaces for software productsDevelop User Interface, GraphQL & REST APIs (incl. Swagger and OpenAPI)Develop and maintain reusable UI components and librariesOptimize user interfaces for performance and scalabilityResponsible for operating in a DevSecOps environment with quality first mentalityParticipate in the design & peer code review processResponsible for solving and fixing production issues with SLA complianceParticipate in continuous grooming in collaboration with the Product OwnerWork in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal directionResponsible for Investigating, analyzing, and evaluating new technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent with proven years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of educationStrong computer programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Concurrency, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Best PracticesStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologiesExperience with front-end frameworks such as React or AngularKnowledge of UI design principles and best practicesExperience with user-centered design methodologies and usability testingStrong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standardsHands-on experience with Agile-scrum methodology and Test-driven developmentExcellent communication, organization, and presentation skillsGood knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment
Nice to have
Experience with WebGL (Three.js)Knowledge of Micro front-end (MFE) architectureExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio
