As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in unlocking the power of data to enhance our products, optimize operations, and create innovative solutions. You'll Get To:
Data Analysis and Modeling: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from various sources, including financial transactions, user behavior, and market data. Apply statistical techniques, data mining, and machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.Predictive Analytics: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast customer behavior, detect fraud, improve risk assessment, and optimize financial processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations and business strategies.Data Visualization: Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Use data visualization tools and techniques to effectively convey complex information.Machine Learning and AI: Research, experiment, and implement cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial models, fraud detection systems, credit scoring, and investment strategies.Data Strategy and Innovation: Contribute to the development and execution of the data strategy for the organization. Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to drive innovation, enhance product offerings, and improve customer experience.Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define data requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure successful implementation of data-driven solutions.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience (8+ years) as a Data Scientist, with a track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.Strong AI and Machine Learning Skills: Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and NLP techniques. Hands-on experience in developing AI models, training, and fine-tuning them for optimal performance.Programming and Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with AI development tools, libraries, and cloud-based AI services. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques. Experience with programming languages such as Python or R, as well as SQL and Problem-solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and propose innovative solutions. Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate models, identify limitations, and recommend improvements.Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex findings to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence stakeholders.Adaptability and Learning Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Proactive in staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in data science and fintech.

• Experience working on cloud platforms GCP, AWS & Azure.
• FinTech or Financial services domain background.

Salary Range:
USD $139,800.00 - USD $215,800.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
