We are looking for world class analytics talent to join our team of analysts to drive actionable insights across our marketing campaigns for TurboTax. We have an exciting opportunity to help shape how we use data and technology to reach our customers with personalized experiences across multiple marketing touch points.
As a Staff Business Data Analyst, you will be a thought leader and dive deep into our marketing campaigns and activations to uncover actionable insights to measure and improve customer acquisition, optimize channel spend, and improve conversion funnels through experimentation. The role requires deep knowledge of the digital and media ecosystem. This position works alongside marketers, marketing and product analytics, data engineering, strategy and finance teams to deliver business results and to grow our customer base for TurboTax.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field required or equivalent work experience; Masters preferred7+ years of experience working in marketing or other related analytics fieldsHighly proficient in SQL, Tableau/QlikSense, and ExcelExperience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking in clickstreamExcellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinkingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlinesOutstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleaguesExperience building strong relationships with stakeholdersAbility to tell stories with data, educates effectively, and instills confidence in recommendations, motivating others to act on them
How you will lead
Drive strategic thinking and cross-functional alignment around data-driven approaches to optimizing marketing campaignsDesign new methodologies, experiments, & dashboards to ensure results are measurable and actionableAnalyze results and generate insights that inform continued iteration of models / improvement in business resultsProvide guidance and thought partnership to Business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goalsDevelop (alongside marketing counterparts) experimentation plans to measure and optimize execution of data-driven strategies Mentor junior analysts to raise the bar across the Analytics organization
