Overview
You will be working on a critical growth product and business priority to create a dent in the prior year assisted market. This role will help understand the journey of a Fully Assisted customer that comes to Turbotax so we can personalize and recommend the right product for them. You will leverage behavioral and transactional data to surface customer insights and deliver awesome outcomes for the business and our customers. As a Staff Business Data Analyst, you will be in a highly influential position to inform product strategy and drive maximum business results.
This role will drive critical cross-functional strategies and will partner closely with other product analytics teams within Fully assisted space, senior product and marketing leadership, product engineering, data engineering, and data science. The insights and strategies generated by this analyst will be instrumental in driving product conversion and understanding the various seams across the Fully Assisted products.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field required or equivalent work experience; Masters preferred7-10 years of experience working in web, product, marketing, or other related analytics fields, ideally with exposure to funnel measurement and reporting Advanced proficiency in SQL, A/B Testing, and Data Visualization (Tableau/Qlik/Amplitude)Experience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking in clickstreamExcellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinkingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlinesOutstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleaguesExperience building strong relationships with stakeholdersAbility to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
How you will lead
Develop (alongside product counterparts) experimentation plans to measure and optimize execution of data-driven strategies in emerging areas of the Fully Assisted tax roadmap across execution, targeting, and personalizationDrive strategic thinking and cross-functional alignment around data-driven approaches to optimizing the Fully Assisted conversion funnelDraft whitepapers to summarize complex Analytics concepts with clearly outlined principles and data backed researchPartner with Intuit-wide analytics counterparts to standardize E2E funnel reporting and strategyMentor junior analysts to raise the bar across the Analytics organization
