　　What’s the role?

　　To develop and drive a short-term production plan that maximizes commercial value of the PSCs and maximizes field capacity utilization within HSSE and reservoir management limits

　　To maintain an evergreen production policy or strategy that integrates inputs from Production (with HSSE), WRFM, Reliability & Engineering, and Development functions

　　To present value-focused metrics e.g. Cashflow or Unit Operating Cost in production planning and optimization decision-making processes

　　To drive decision-making and internal-external collaboration to minimize the business impact of production plan changes within the month

　　Responsible for production planning of the asset over the short-term horizon, covering capacity planning and supply planning to meet business objectives.

　　Maintain an overview of production risks and opportunities in the short-term horizon, with a credible assessment of P10, P50 and P90 status which ultimately feed into the asset's Business Planning and Latest Estimate (LE) process. Drive for credible risk mitigation plans with the risk owners. Collaborate with the Business Planning Natural Team in developing a sound analysis of LE against the latest risk and opportunity prognosis.

　　Work collaboratively with the Asset Planning & Performance Integrator in developing a credible and robust medium term production plan that respects the latest technical constraints and captures production opportunities. Support the annual business planning (OP) and WP&B process.

　　Deliver the Monthly Gas & NGL Delivery Schedule which includes day to day optimized production and activities planning as a key reference for operation and execution. Collaborate closely with the Forecast and Plan Production Natural Team in developing and executing strategies to safeguard Shell's entitlement to produce, in line with GSA commitments and Priority of Supply rules in the Sarawak network.

　　Deliver the 90-days production forecast and an update of indicative monthly gas demand for the rest of the year, based on latest market and customer input, for activity planning and financial planning purposes.

　　Manage the impact of production and production-impacting activity changes within the month by working closely with internal and external stakeholders to recommend options using the value lens. Present an appropriate cost-benefit analysis bounded by HSSE.

　　Work closely with the IAP team in maintaining and managing asset planned activities with downtime e.g. ESD Test/Turbine Wash/BI, optimized pigging sequencing.

　　Work closely with the Production Support Engineers in delivering and tuning the daily Production Plan. Support the PSEs in developing strategies to manage production changes induced by network issues, in close coordination with Network Integrator.

　　Maintain active and trusted relationships with external stakeholders who have direct impact to the production plan.

　　What do we need from you?

　　An engineering degree with a broad understanding of the Upstream business and deep grounding in Engineering or Production Operations.

　　A key differentiator will be relevant knowledge of Sarawak gas network integrated gas supply planning and knowledge of executing gas sales agreements and Production Sharing Contracts.

　　Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with a lot of personal drive, in view of the central role played by the planning team and the many stakeholders involved.

　　Ability to frame highly technical or operational issues into business impact and narrative for leaders' decision-making.

　　Ability to combine high level strategic thinking with simple tactics to deliver results.

　　Ability to make a balanced assessment of risks and opportunities with a focus on value or cashflow impact.

　　Ability to integrate across functional disciplines and to manage the relationships with key stakeholders to achieve mutual benefits.

　　Track record of results delivery in diverse, challenging environments.
