Description
Do you want to work on complex problems in the real time communications space while building Amazon's communications platform powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS)? Are you looking for a fast-paced AWS team to apply your deep analytical and engineering skills to? The Amazon Chime SDK team builds APIs and SDKs to deliver Real Time Collaboration as an easy-to-use AWS service with the pay-for-what-you-use model. We enable AWS customers to build collaboration features like audio, video and chat into their existing applications and services. Customers start from a simple and familiar on-boarding experience they are used to with AWS services with documentation and samples and build up to solving complex workflows with Bots interactions. We also build sticky differentiators for the service leveraging other AWS services like WorkDocs, Alexa, Comprehend, Transcribe, etc.
We believe in using AWS's scale, reliability, flexibility and ease of use to deliver early versions of this exciting software quickly and iteratively, to get customer feedback, and use the feedback to make data driven and agile decisions. We rely on software engineers leveraging their own expertise and perspectives to drive quality into our product.
We are seeking a Sr Telecom Support Engineer with deep knowledge of SIP protocol and Linux/UNIX expertise to help us support and expand Amazon Chime’s telecom infrastructure. You will be part of a global team responsible for the day to day operations, deployment, and break/fix for our services. As a Sr Telecom Support Engineer, you will focus on complex and ambiguous problems for our customers and service, will be part of a follow-the-sun on-call team, and will handle critical event escalations.
