JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Technology Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of technology solutions to our franchise and managed hotels in the Us & Canada. This individual will be responsible for driving compliance of projects led by the PSS project deployment management team. The role involves a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and hotel/vendor interactions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Experience & Education
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
3+ years’ progressive work experience in business support role
Must have strong working capabilities with Microsoft Office Suite and applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook),
1+ years’ experience supporting or participating in deployment projects that include software and hardware upgrades.
Ability to travel occasionally
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Proficiency in Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI, JIRA)
Experience with agile concepts
Microsoft tools such as Visio, Sharepoint, Teams
Strong business acumen and understanding of hotel operations and processes
Experience in developing effective business relationships with peers, stakeholders, and other leaders
Experience in managing a project team, including problem identification/resolution, negotiation, and conflict management skills
Working knowledge of Marriott Information Technology standards
Experience in change control processes
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills
Vendor relationships
Availability to work outside of traditional business hours to facilitate project events as needed.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Manages and provide technology deployment services for managed, franchised and above property locations in the US and Canada.
Drives compliance with PMS server refresh activities.
Works with various stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure that the needs of the organization are met in the functionality and deployment of initiatives.
Models aspects of a project planning framework to ensure the functionality, deployment and support needs are well documented, communicated and met through high-profile initiatives.
Validates that created and delivered services are done in accordance with service level agreements, department’s internal criteria and with high customer satisfaction.
Facilitates the successful execution of all deployment activities for assigned projects.
Liaises with peers with the US/CAN technology team and broader global technology and operations organizations as required.
Manages vendor responsibilities when applicable.
Represents the stakeholders’ technical and operational interests in the development and design, functionality, deployment and support of initiatives
Provides input to implementation process and methods to reduce project costs and increase effectiveness without jeopardizing objectives
Executes against an established framework to support successful project delivery
Consolidates and prioritizes open issues, action items and requirements
ports large project from inception to completion with a keen focus on managing budget, timeline and scope
Aligns and partners with project teams and change management forums to contribute to the overall messaging. Functions as a key resource in managing change for US & Canada stakeholders

Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $66,560.00 to $134,991.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $63,150.00 to $122,722.00 annually.
Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $76,410.00 to $134,991.00 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $63,150.00 to $134,991.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $67,724.80 to $134,991.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
