Description
Amazon Devices is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver cross-functional programs distributed over geographies. In this role, you will be a highly visible leader that will own the communication, coordination, and execution full-lifecycle programs. You will engage with senior product and engineering leaders to define and drive the execution of roadmaps, plan for dependencies, and secure resources to ensure the meeting of agreed upon deliverables and timelines. You will define processes that improve teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Key job responsibilities
Lead multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from initiation through delivery. Involves anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and communicating status broadly across all levels
Make tradeoffs while balancing the business needs with technical constraints
Work closely with product and engineering teams to define near term and long term product roadmap
Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project execution. Create clarity, eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met. Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery mechanisms get better over time
Serve as a trusted advisor to product and engineering team

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
