  Slack is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive technical programs for our Reliability pillar! You will focus on reducing customer impact events and the continuous improvements we make in our Reliability journey.   In this role, you possess a strong understanding and passion for services that deliver Enterprise grade availability, have experience with SLOs and error budgets at an Enterprise level and are a strong advocate for the customer experience.

  What you will be doing:

  You are the hub to connect and deliver the multi-functional programs to drive Slack's Reliability for an outstanding customer experience.You actively drive process improvements across multiple functions within the team.You design policies, processes, and systems that facilitate scaling and growth.Provide hands-on project management during analysis, design, development, testing, release, and post release phases.Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information.Reduce risk by tracing dependencies and surfacing impediments.Run metrics for Reliability and availability and use these to drive program improvements.Lead all aspects of programs and projects within Global Reliability to deliver next level capabilities.Partner with tech leads in facilitation of the development of strategic technical projects.

  What you should Have:

  At least 6 years leading planning, resource management, project lifecycles, and workflows in a multifaceted product or engineering organization.Strong verbal and written social skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to successfully connect with engineers and identify technical risks.Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple time zones.Excellent organizational and interpersonal/communication skills, and experience handling activities across multiple teams.Ability to analyze robust data sets and synthesize them into stories and slidesSQL experience extracting large data sets into executive level dashboards.Proven track record of delivering intricate technical projects and programs with multi-functional teams.At least 2 years of experience actively developing and leading programs within an SRE group.Proficient in AWS Cloud offerings (or similar cloud services)

  For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $140,200 to $192,900.

  Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
