The Sr. Tech Product Manager will be part of the SAP ERP team within the Optum Rx Technology team performing business requirements, analysis, design, configuration, testing and user adoption related activities within both the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and the Materials Management (MM) functional areas. The person in this position will collaborate with other SAP team members and staff towards defining, enhancing, and integrating SAP EWM and MM solutions across the ERP platform and related business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage relationship and liaison with Optum's procurement and warehousing business stakeholders on identifying and owning the business processes and requirements to be built in SAP S4/HANA Provide innovative ideas and solutions on how to streamline or optimize current business processing using SAP technology within the EWM and MM space IT owner of SAP processes in the EWM & MM areas including configuration, testing and related functional documentation Configuring and setting up the inbound processes within SAP EWM including inbound delivery distribution from S4 to EWM, creation of warehousing tasks, configuring system-guided put away, bin setup, put paths, opportunistic cross-docking, and the posting of the goods receipt of product Configuring, setting up and maintaining new SAP EWM warehouses, storage types, storage sections, and document number ranges Configuring and setting up the internal processes within SAP EWM including physical inventory (using ABC driven, ad hoc, and opportunistic cycle counting), management of stock status', and inventory scrapping internally or in partnership with a third party Configuring and setting up the outbound processes within SAP EWM including outbound delivery distribution from S4 to EWM, wave templates, WOCR, pick cart setup, pick paths, wave picking, pick to order, pack specs, cartonization logic, handling unit management, packing, carrier integration, and the posting of the goods issue of product Configuring and setting up SAP EWM Slotting and Rearrangement Configuring and setting up Labor Management within SAP EWM Supporting SAP MM module functionality including S&OP, MRP, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, release strategies, material master, purchasing information records, sources lists and inbound delivery management Supporting the integration of SAP EWM with SAP ATTP to manage serial number tracking within SAP Maintaining the SAP EWM RF scanner menu options in support of our RF scanner devices Partner with systems integrator resources in performing fit-gap analysis, build, and testing of the solution that meets the business requirements Review impact of SAP functionality across functional teams and provide impact analysis and decisions to EWM & MM business process owners, project managers, and other SAP implementation partners and team members Support existing supply chain business processes and help to develop new innovative processes to support business needs Serve as a leader/mentor for lesser experienced team members

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or MIS or 5+ years of equivalent experience 7+ years of SAP EWM/MM support experience 5+ years wholesale distribution LoB experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharmaceutical industry experience Knowledge of SAP EWM/MM configurations, integration and best practices Knowledge of DSCSA requirements
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
