The ISCaP Power and Cooling (PAC) team is looking for a results-oriented individual to own our Retrofit Program Planning for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment. Our Retrofit Program Managers are focused on managing all the requirements and deliverables necessary to deliver the supply where it’s needed to support the explosive growth of AWS.
As a member of the Power and Cooling Critical Infrastructure Program Planning team, you will manage cross-functional programs focused on the development, deployment and sustaining of electrical and mechanical capital equipment. You’ll provide program management leadership to enable procurement and supply chain teams to scale capital equipment deployments. You’ll drive teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex cross-functional programs with high impact to the organization. You will work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas.
Key job responsibilities
Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable supply chains
Using data and key metrics, drive and measure improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness
Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
Continuous improvement programs: lead time, cost, quality, capacity, agility
Make optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources, and scope, and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks, challenges, and obstacles.
Adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
Requires travel up to 15% of the year
A day in the life
Define projects, collect requirements, understand functional specifications, and coordinate efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy requested equipment
Work cross functionally with engineering, technical program managers and supply chain to define and drive timely delivery of all critical project milestones
Identify and manage risks in cross-functional project plans
Drive supply chain and procurement improvement initiatives to simplify, automate, and scale processes and reduce SLAs
Collect data and present metrics to influence business partners and leadership on direction for strategic projects
Influence the build management process, design decisions and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for all cross-functional teams

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, or additional 4+ years of related industry experience in lieu of a degree
6+ years of related program management and/or planning experience, or 4+ years with advanced related degree
3+ years of experience with data analysis using tools such as advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.
3+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement
Preferred Qualifications
Background in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, data center infrastructure/operations, and/or construction, who have transitioned to a program management discipline.
MBA or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain, analytics or other quantitative disciplines.
3+ years of experience in product program management, requirements management, or leading an implementation of a product program.
Has designed the strategy and execution road map for a product/program
Strong data acumen and experience building Tableau dashboards
Ability to think big and drive innovation throughout the supply chain
Be Analytical and have a passion for diving deep
Experience in technical program management related to data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.
Effectively communicate relevant information at all levels of the organization
Leadership and coaching skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
