Vendor Flex is a program that unlocks incremental value for Amazon vendors, customers, and supply chain, by operating small-scale order fulfillment centers co-located in vendors' warehouse space. We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager who is responsible for building complementary supply chain solutions to unlock incremental capacity at low capital expenditure, enhance speed to market, and drive down fulfillment costs. The Senior Supply Chain Manager designs long-term strategies and capabilities to facilitate game-changing innovation, reduce capacity constraints across the core-network, unlock incremental profitability, and drive executive-level initiatives.
Vendor Flex organization's core goal is centered on two key principles:
i) Innovation that positions the customer’s first.
ii) Solutions that spin the Amazon flywheel.
Our mission is to introduce simplicity, predictability, and economic efficiency to Amazon’s multifaceted supply chain than spans the globe. We develop capabilities and business models that support Amazon’s needs for cost-effective, scalable e-commerce solutions including storage, distribution, and customer fulfillment.
Key job responsibilities
Key Job Responsibilities:
End-to-end ownership of the performance and metrics of a Supply Chain Innovation program (Vendor Flex), responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly business trends that allow the program to continue delivering results and reducing supply chain complexity.
Primary responsibility for strategic management (including vendor and stakeholder management) of several Vendor Flex sites.
Ownership of 2-3 key metrics, initiatives, or projects that drive step-change improvements in Vendor Flex network efficiency
The role requires supply chain expertise and analytical background to leverage complex data to inform business decisions.

About the team

You will be part of a high functioning team, responsible for delivering on strategic goals with direct impact for consumer businesses' profit and loss (P&L). Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
2+ years of supply chain experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
