Role Overview
As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist you will be part of a global Strategic Sourcing organization and you will be responsible for strategic and tactical purchasing activities (inclusive of catalog and non-catalog purchases), helping customers with acquiring goods and services.
You will be tasked with driving processes around developing and optimizing Broadridge's spending.
Responsibilities:First point of contact with internal stakeholders and suppliersBuild relationships with key "requisitioners" within the businessPrepare purchase orders and send order requests to suppliersUpdate records and follow up with vendors to check if the order is being processedWork with suppliers to resolve issues with incorrect or late shipmentsBuild strong relationships with key supplier contacts working with them closely to fix problems as quickly as possibleResponsible for checking invoices terms, validating when compliant, and obtain corrections when not matching purchase order termsEnsure procurement and delegation procedures are followed and continuously contribute to process and tools improvements.Collaborate and provide a professional, efficient, and effective procurement service to all stakeholders when handling clarification questions and responding to inquiriesAbility to work with punchout catalogsObtain quotes from suppliersReview supplier invoices for discrepanciesInforms other staff and suppliers regarding the procedural/process requirements of the groupIdentify and pursue opportunities to increase productivity and drive new efficienciesPerform tasks to document and improve Source-To-Pay related process(s)Ability to negotiate agreements with suppliers within the EMEA regionYour Profile:
5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational companyAbility to perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive environmentBachelor's degree in business administration and/or ProcurementExperience with Procure-to-Pay lifecycle processes, including Supplier Risk Management, Contracting, Procurement Operations, and PaymentStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with ability to influence stakeholdersStrategic and innovative thinker who can drive communication internally and externally and keep pace with a changing marketplaceStrong team player, with the innate ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationshipsExperience in supplier managementExperience in using an ERP systemProficiency in using Excel/SheetsCustomer orientedFlexible and open to learning new activitiesGreat attention to detailsGood team coordination skillsChange Management ExperienceProject Management ExperienceLean Six SigmaProcess Mapping ExpertiseAbility to Create Standard Operating Procedures#LI-Hybrid
