The Senior Strategic Consultant role will provide strategic opportunity sales support and assistance through the stages of the selling process, from qualification to close. The purpose for this role is to facilitate the sales team''s navigation through the phases of the sales process by providing both strategic and tactical opportunity support. The Senior Strategic Consultant will work in tandem with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to capture and exploit strategic imperatives and unique competitive differentiators. Each consultant supports multiple opportunities.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Sales team in the qualification of an opportunityProviding input and guidance at all stages of the sales processAttending pipeline reviews and QPRsProviding guidance and input on competitive intelligenceParticipating as appropriate in prospect engagementsProviding guidance and assisting in identifying and attaining internal and external resources to assist in the sale processAssisting and supporting the RSM with the following activities:Development of Opportunity PlanDiscovery (Pre-demo)RFP Strategy and call prepDemo PrepAttend demos as neededAssist in follow upAssist in the Sales to PS transition processThis job will require 50% travel

Bachelor''s degree or equivalentAt least 5 years of related experience working with Higher Education InstitutionsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including facilitating productive and action-oriented executive sessionsExcellent presentation skillsAbility to work independently, and to proactively identify and respond to emerging challenges in a dynamic environmentAdvanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAbility to multitask and to consistently perform under the pressure of deadlines and other demands by appropriately triaging tasks according to strategic prioritiesHighly organized, proactive and impactful communicator driven by a desire to help clients succeedAbility to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented, collaborative environmentFluency in written and spoken English

Base Pay Range is $100,00 - $120,000/year plus sales compensation depending upon experience. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.
