KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Engineer, Systems Admin - NAS to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform data migration tasks from direct attached storage and within SAN environments
Execute daily storage engineer activities including management, zoning, provisioning, troubleshooting, and debugging
Install, maintain and improve system configurations and solutions, as well as monitor and audit system utilization, performance and problems
Complete system upgrades, develop storage management procedures and standards, and often collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate storage solutions with existing infrastructure
Provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause and preventative analysis
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of recent experience working as a Storage Operations Administrator
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Administration experience in storage of multiprotocol environments like CIFS and NFS with Netapp and Isilon NAS solutions; experience using the following technologies is highly preferred: PureStorage, Dell NAS Provisioning, Dell Isilon, NetApp ONTAP and Cisco MDS
Recent UNIX/Linux System Administration experience with the ability to work in a 24/7 on-call support role; experience managing and supporting project deliverables
Practical experience in Storage zoning and SAN port provisioning; troubleshooting experience with Storage, SAN, NAS Connectivity and performance issues
Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
