　　What you get to do in this role:Define and implement a data strategy and roadmap for ServiceNowDefine policies and establish standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing, and. formatting dataWork with business and IT leadership to define and document the data architecture for enterprise data assetsDevelop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitionsProvide direction and guidance in the implementation of data warehouses, marts, cubes and universes to support analytic work product requirementsLead efforts to implement a reference data and master data management strategyBuild and lead the data-architecture practice in support of strategic business and IT goals. Effectively work across team boundaries to establish data architecture and provide guidance to individual teams.Design and develop end to end robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture that will support the analytical and reporting needs of the various business organizations.Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to help build the backend solutions for reporting, dashboarding, and analysis.Ability to architect and build an end to end data platforms.Strong understanding and experience building ELT/ETL solutions for both structured and unstructured data sets.Launch and support new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal customersPrototype new technologies and implement innovative solutions to enable teams to consume and understand data faster.Leverage business and domain acumen to interpret and translate business requirements to architecture/technology plans.Qualifications

Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals and future possibilities, using breakthrough strategies.Highly Skilled Database Administrator - Postgres and Mysql/mariadb.Excellent with OS -Linux/RHEL. Engineers logical and physical data models, including those that mirror SN schema, distribution, and volumes to drive realistic simulations to support and inform business decisionsLeads self and others to ensure successful project completion, managing more than one project and priorities simultaneously: reviews and updates program/project management best practices and established processesMentors' others in understanding organizational priorities; translates deep business and industry understanding to leadership, partners and team, in an easy-to-understand mannerConsistently develops new and creative approaches and embraces calculated risk to accomplish short- to mid-term goals in the face of ambiguity and/or resistance from other groupsDemonstrates advanced ability to test a system: investigate, measure, validate, or verify other quality attributes of the system, such as scalability, reliability and resource usage, against various workloads to define tolerance boundaries for real world applicationsMakes decisions based on theory or concepts when solving problems of a highly complex or technical natureExperiments with a wide range of existing technologies while applying new and emerging options that can enhance organizational outcomesImproves Observability within ServiceNow infrastructure by actively refining existing telemetry while also defining new metrics and monitoringLeads and guides efforts on continuous improvement; has a knack for identifying and seizing opportunities for synergy and integrationJV20
