This role will require System Architecture support with direct knowledge of internal avionics/mission computing hardware allocation/processing for the FARA MS Architecture Team.
In this position you will:
•Provide heavy System Architecture shaping in relation to avionics/mission computing and processing.
•Close coordination with other IPTs/disciplines to ensure all subsystems are accounted for in the architecture.
•Drive platform consistency/compatibility (hardware interfaces, video, standards).
•Resource management (performance, TPMs, growth) planning and sustainment.

Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse, New York, sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the "Southern Tier" section of New York State. Basic Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security clearance
• Systems engineering experience, preferably working military programs across multiple portions of a program life cycle
• Experience with development and successfully delivering products
• Experience decomposing requirements, developing systems engineering work products and integrating systems including sensors, controls, and display systems
• Familiar with common aircraft technologies and interfaces (e.g. sensors, mission systems, software designs, human machine interfaces, Ethernet, 1553)
Desired Skills:
•Mission Computing Hardware experience.
•Technical depth and breadth of integrating complex avionics into platforms.
• Experience applying modern engineering practices for Digital Transformation including Agile, Model Based Engineering (SYSML), and Automation.
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, JIRA, Cameo, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with the Lockheed Martin - Owego Common Product Line (CPL) initiative and process.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
