What's the role?

　　Your main responsibilities include:

　　Developing, implementing, and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and performance prior to release.

　　Tracking software test results and defects in relevant tools/databases.

　　Planning, coordinating and executing field tests.

　　Assisting the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during testing phase and in

　　production phase.

　　Streamling testing methodology and creating automation scripts as needed.

　　Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders locally and globally to improve the tests.

　　Pro-actively taking on new challenges by learning new tools and environments.

　　Planning and executing other activities to enhance quality, coverage and freshness of map content and data.

　　Who are you?

　　You are a strong candidate for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and work experience.

　　Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

　　5 years + of working experience having knowledge of software testing requirements and methods.

　　Experience in E2E testing, application testing on Unix/Linux/Android/ iOS, deriving test cases from requirements, and Issue tracking tools.

　　Hands on experience with tools like Jira, Gitlab, AWS.

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Strong communication skills, Japanese and English.

　　Knowledge and cultural awareness of the region served.

　　This is a hybrid role, and you are expected to be present in office for two days in a week, while you can work from home on the remaining days.
