　　About the role

　　Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.

　　The Core QE team handles overarching quality initiatives and strategies to ensure the quality of Netskope products and services. We operate as DevOps engineers who own and manage critical test infrastructure used by engineering teams in every release. We manage deployments, work across teams to root cause and fix system failures, and drive infrastructure upgrades. We also create tooling for nightly automation test suite runs, write automated tests to expand suites, create metric dashboards, oversee automation hygiene, enforce release criteria, and do data-driven continuous improvement to ensure customer excellence.

　　What you will be doing

　　Lead and implement projects for a continued infrastructure improvement, infrastructure automation, and deployments of new systems Combine your understanding of automation needs and IT aspects to provide stable, efficient and self-service R&D test environments Develop expertise in our cloud security solutions, and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain automated CI pipelines Help create and implement quality processes and requirements Automate complex test suites Develop test libraries and coordinate adoption Identify and communicate risks about our releases Be able to own and make quality decisions Own the release and be a customer advocate

　　Required skills and experience

　　4+ years of experience as an SDET or DevOps engineer with a track record showing that you are a highly motivated individual, capable of coming up with creative, innovative solutions in a collaborative environment Experience managing and maintaining distributed production and/or nonproduction environments Strong programming skills. We work primarily in Python, Groovy, and Go Knowledge of Jenkins, Hudson, or any other CI system Experience testing distributed systems A proponent of Strong Quality Engineering methodology Strong knowledge of Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible Experience building automation frameworks Experience with databases, SQL and NoSQL (Mongodb or Cassandra) a plus Knowledge of network security, authentication and authorization. Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems. Bonus points for knowledge of database internals and query processing and / or SaaS security infrastructure
