As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our talented team. This hybrid position requires at least 50% of pay period hours in the office (3 days one week/2 days one week).
The Role: As a Senior Software Developer you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products, possess strong technical expertise, and exhibit leadership qualities to mentor and guide other team members. In this role, you will:
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and compliance with coding standards.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our technology-stack remains cutting-edge.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BAE has found that success in this position requires:
Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on designing and implementing complex software systems.
Strong proficiency in Java, PHP, Javascript, Typescript, React, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker.
Experience with MySQL or Oracle Database systems, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, etc)
Knowledgeable in Linux & Windows based Operating Systems, Object-Orientated Development Principles, Agile Software Development Principals
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II certificate as specified in the DoD 8570
Or have a SECNAV 5239 qualifying degree and the ability to meet the requirements for an IAT II as specified in the DoD 8570 within 6 months of start date
At least 50% of pay period hours in the office (three days one week/two days one week).

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
