We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Servicing Transfer Coordinator that has strongproject management skills to ensure efficient, timely and successfulservicing transfers. This role is responsible for coordinating with externalcounterparties, vendors and internal partners. Along with understandingprior servicer practices that may impact future servicing & ensuringimages, data and reporting are timely and completely received. Thecoordinator will ensure internal and effectively review inbound loandata/images, and ensure customer communications are sent in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:
Using your exceptional understanding of the mortgage servicing transferprocess, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regardingcustomer notifications relevant to servicing transfers. This includes GoodbyeLetters, Hello Letters, and Validation of Debt lettersYou will keep up with changing regulatory requirements that impact theservicing process in order to facilitate and handle complex servicingtransfers, with an emphasis on preventing all negative borrower impact.You will use strong verbal and written communication skills to collaboratewith counterparties, vendors, and internal partners.Using your strong servicing industry understanding on how different productsand loan statuses can impact other internal Cornerstone departments, youwill ensure that Cornerstone servicing teams are properly notified andprepared to handle unexpected incoming loan scenarios or volumes; and youwill work with management to escalate any potential gaps.Using your extensive experience and knowledge of technology tools and projectmanagement techniques, you will look for, recognize, provide projectreporting, and escalate when necessary roadblocks to timely and effectivetransYou will be responsible for initiating and actively participating in ad-hocand routine meetings.You will participate in internal team UAT (user-acceptance testing)processes in order to improve loan boarding systems and tools.Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will help to lead, train,guide and mentor newer or more junior Servicing Transfer team members;What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Management InformationSystems and/or Business Administration, or equivalent years of experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in database administration, informationtechnology, database architecture, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in mortgage servicing industry experience,preferably within Loan Boarding/Transfers groupExceptional understanding of data formats with an emphasis on data integritywhile converting from one servicing system to anotherExceptional experience with managing loan origination boarding and bulkservice transfer processes, including NPL (non-performing loan) anddistressed asset servicing transfersAbility to assist other more junior members of the Servicing Transfer team byproviding guidance based on experience and intuitionStrong ability to multitask while maintaining proper attention to detail andwhile prioritizing a diverse workload with time-sensitive deadlinesAbility to perform change-management dutiesExceptional time and organizational management skillsExceptional interpersonal skills in addition to verbal/written communicationin a clear, concise, and professional mannerExceptional proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products includingExcel, Access, Word, Visio and PowerPointMicrosoft SQL Server Management Studio SELECT statement experience preferredExperience with Black Knight's MSP Servicing system and LoanSphere LoanBoarding application preferredTravel Required:Up to 25%Who we are....Cornerstone Servicing is a best-in-class mortgage servicer with a rep tationof amazing service, customer satisfaction, employee retention andhappiness!
