Location: Cambridge, MA / Instrument and Enterprise Services Division
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
Pay: $24-26/hr, dependent on experience
Responsibilities
Conduct operations in accordance with terms and conditions of program contract and Statement of WorkSupport overall account strategy to achieve annual operating plan (AOP) goals for revenue, growth, margin expansion, and account retention.Administration of pipette calibration due lists and coordination with area managers and contacts.Adherence to scheduled calibration due dates for all pipette calibrationsProduction of pipette calibration-overdue listTimely follow up with end users (e.g.: WO requests, Calibration failures, coordination of pick-ups/drop-offs, addressing missing pipettes).Management of pipette test points and tolerances (specifications) as specified by user and or manufacturer.Document calibration performance data entry and file/record keeping and review certificates to ensure their accuracy.Serve as a liaison between client and third party pipette calibration service providerPipette performance data analysis and pipette projection reports as needed to ensure robust management of system.Perform additional administrative and/or clerical duties for departmentDevelop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients, service vendors and Thermo Fisher staffResponsible for customer satisfaction and loyaltySupport the development of quarterly business reviews and participate in meetings as requiredAssist in data collection and analysis of customer metrics to include but not limited to financials, compliance, growth, and profitabilitySupport action plans and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvementResponsible for accurate data input into client Enterprise Asset Management systemSupport problem resolution and escalation at account as neededMonitor all service activities and escalations to include, timeliness, accuracy and quality of the eventAdhere to all Thermo Fisher and customer security and safety proceduresSupport opportunities to identify and leverage other Thermo Fisher products and serviceParticipate in PPI project teams as assigned to improve business performanceOther appropriate duties as assigned by Thermo Fisher management
How will you get here?
Education:
HS Diploma or Equivalent(GED)
Experience:
1+ Years experience with attention to detail, problem solving and working in a team environment, preferably within a laboratory setting or services, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Intermediate level user of Microsoft Outlook and Word,; Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferredBe able to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift up to 50 poundsMust maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics' Four-I ValuesMust possess a strong desire to serve the customer and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.Must deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance at all times.Detail oriented, technically proficient, organized, problem solver, promotes team environmentMust be able to work independently and proactively to resolve customer issuesMust be capable of building strong, professional client relationshipsMust be team orientedExcellent time management skills required and ability to prioritize work based on business and client needsAbility to make commitments, track and communicate progress and follow through until completion
