And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.Job Summary:As a Sr. SAP Functional Specialist, this role will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and quality of data across various SAP domains, with a particular focus on Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master. Responsibilities will encompass data governance automation, complex workflow implementation, data cleansing, and rationalization on a global scale across multiple functional areas including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Quality/Regulatory, Planning, Production, and Purchasing. This position will also help develop data governance standards, guidelines, and processes to maintain the highest data quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Functional Support: Work with SAP Functional D&T team on day-to-day Support activities for SAP domains. Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and processes set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures.Data Governance Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy for SAP systems across all functional areas.Master Data Management: Manage and maintain the quality and consistency of master data, including Customer Master, Material Master, Vendor Master, BOM, Routes, and Recipe Management.Complex Workflow Automation: Design, implement, and automate intricate data governance workflows to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards.Data Cleansing and Rationalization: Lead global initiatives for data cleansing and rationalization, identifying and rectifying data issues to maintain data integrity.Alignment with Business Processes: Analyze complex business processes for manufacturing and logistics domains (SAP-MM/QM/EWM/PM) and align master data to support and optimize them effectively.Data Standards and Synchronization: Assist in developing and maintaining data standards, guidelines, and processes to address master data issues consistently.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and SAP developers, to ensure data governance requirements are met.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data governance processes, configurations, and workflows for reference and audit purposes.Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to end-users and business stakeholders on data governance best practices.Data Security: Ensure that data security and compliance requirements are met within SAP systems.Actively contributes to the development of master data processes, guidelines and standards as required and disseminates to business, technology and application teams.Education and Experience:Education or equivalent experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science or EquivalentRelated SAP Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experienceStrong Expertise in SAP Business processes in manufacturing industryKnowledge, Skills and Abiliti s:Extensive SAP experience with business process knowledge and system functionality and technical understanding of PP and related areas (QM, MM, PM) for maintaining SAP Master Data objects like Material, BOM, Routes, Recipe Management workbench, Customer and Vendor Master.Proficiency in SAP S4HANA modules and tools related to data governance.In-depth knowledge of industry best practices for business processes and data governance standards.Ability to analyze complex, abstract issues in a logical, structured way.Should be able to work on complex global SAP landscapes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels in the organization.Broad experience desired, but not essential, in areas, such as data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM, data standards, regulatory compliance, and enterprise architecture frameworks.Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
