SSGA Investment Strategy & Research, Bangalore
Responsibilities:
Perform strategic asset allocation, investment analysis, and deep dive portfolio analytics for client portfolios.Generate actionable insights for the client portfolios on the back of solid quantitative research.Collaborate with global IS&R teams and generate quality research in the form of white papers and brief write-ups to enrich client interaction.Develop and enhance marketing collateral to support and further client interaction.Mentor and develop talent in the team.
Qualifications:
4-8 years of professional experience in the core investment management is required. Candidates having experience in the Multi-Asset portfolio management/research will be preferred.Research mindset is crucial to succeed in this role. Prior experience in generating thought leadership (e.g.: journals, research papers, blogs etc.) will be preferred.Advanced degree in Finance/Economics/Math/progress towards CFA is essential.Hand-on experience with FactSet/Bloomberg/DataStream is essential. Experience with Axioma and Barra will be a plus.
