  Description

  Since 2018, the WW Value Added Services (VAS) product team has provided the foundation for rapid expansion of Amazon’s flagship Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program, now responsible for delivering billions of packages annually across 20 countries worldwide. The WW VAS team is part of the Last Mile Delivery and Technology organization and is responsible for designing, launching, and managing a broad portfolio of third-party products, services and deals which we deliver throughout the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to support the expansion and evolution of the VAS product portfolio to improve profitability for the over 3,500 small and medium-sized businesses that rely on our products.

  The Sr. Program Manager, VAS will be responsible for driving performance improvements across all VAS products, in all DSP geographies. As the face of the VAS team to stakeholders throughout Amazon and across the world, the successful candidate must have a proven track record in aligning stakeholders with competing interests to drive high-impact business objectives forward in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. The VAS portfolio is broad in scope and complex. This person must be a self-starting fast learner, able to define elegant solutions to complex problems across legal, financial, operational and human resource management domains, quickly becoming a subject matter expert in multiple domains. This will be a highly visible role, meaning that the optimal candidate will be adept at building consensus and able to represent, verbally and in writing, complex decisions, trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to senior leadership. A strong candidate will be able to dive deep, identify root causes, and move between strategy and execution on a daily basis. A background in supply chain, labor and employment law, corporate benefits administration are considered a plus. Up to 25% domestic and global travel is expected in this role.

  Key job responsibilities

  Build, aggregate and report common metrics across many programs and geos to highlight areas of risk and opportunities for innovation

  Troubleshoot complex business issues impacting DSP profitability and operational efficiency, identify root cause and lead cross-functional, international teams to deliver scalable solutions

  Drive the organizational strategy through ownership of high-visibility reports, such as global metrics dashboard and global business reviews

  Establish effective change management procedures to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively incorporated across all DSP geographies

  A day in the life

  You will work with global product managers and regional businesses in countries like India, Japan, Germany (and of course, the United States) to surface pain points that are affecting your customer's bottom line and drive solutions. Your success will depend on your ability to work with people in many different organizations (compliance, tech, business intelligence, legal and more), get everyone on board and drive alignment with executive leaders.   Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of program or project management experience

  Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  Bachelor's degree

  Excellent communication and analytical skills, including writing

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
