The Sr Program Manager Marketing is responsible for the solution/service strategy that fall under CDW's marketing solution and service practice. This leader will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the Integrated Technology Solutions (ITS) team, along with CDW Sales teams, understand CDW's marketing resources and strategies, enabling them to drive revenue more efficiently. Reporting to the Manager, Solution and Services Marketing this role is responsible for supporting the ITS go-to-market strategies and priorities in combination with the Field Marketing team to support the sales process and aligning marketing resources to Sales priorities.
The solution and services marketing team support the ITS team and will distribute all activities in the marketing plan to customers using the pre-selected marketing channel including events. They support cross-marketing function by supporting traditional project management and providing necessary assets to the sales and technical teams for enablement and distribution to customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility Shapes the companies' unique value proposition, identify and define new opportunities and supports the strategic marketing business plans. Identify ITS priorities through consistent, real-time, and opportunistic engagements, while driving Marketing awareness & presence. Designs and develops marketing strategies and programs, including needs analysis, plan of action, and project coordination and call to action. Develops demand generation plans and programs aligned the Centralized Planning Team and CDW's overall go to market plan. Ensures consistent corporate image is developed and maintained throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events. Capture ITS inputs, feedback & prioritization to align the marketing plan to Sales priorities. Create communications related to the Marketing plan to make Sales aware of any changes that will impact the organization or the clients. Track and support Marketing activity execution to see the plan from ideation to delivery. Marketing control - Set KPI's, test for results, and share findings to help the collective team make better decisions.
Other Responsibilities Assess and organize existing marketing data to make content sharing with Integrated Tech. Gather and leverage Integrated Tech feedback to improve the Marketing plan. Managing and maintaining the Vault. Engage with Integrated Tech, to identify gaps that Marketing can address with new technology topics & priorities, collateral needs, training needs and other strategies not covered in the broader marketing plan. Education and/or Experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience OR 9 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience.
Required Qualifications Proven program management experience, driving initiatives from conception through completion. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a track record of successfully influencing stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership. History of providing outstanding customer service to stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to take initiative and creatively problem solve. Understanding/appreciation for maintaining confidentiality. Record of successful organizational skills. Experience in developing or utilizing strategic sales campaigns. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research. Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-changing environment. Knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions. Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications MBA or graduate degree. 2 years of experience in digital marketing tools. 7 years Sales or Marketing experience or Project Management experience in Technology industry. Experience in working with sales organizations. Experience managing customer events and trade shows. Technology market knowledge and working experience. Proficient with reporting and analytics applications (Cognos and ProClarity).
