Description
Come join a team that works at the intersection of sustainability, technology, groceries, and business operations. We are ambitious and big thinkers and we need your expertise to deliver results. At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.
Amazon's Social Responsibility program drives customer trust, business continuity, and sustainable social impact by embedding respect for human rights and the environment throughout Amazon’s entire value chain. We implement company-wide standards and commitments (such as our Global Human Rights Principles and Supply Chain Standards). We seek to continuously improve the tools and processes used in integrating human rights and environmental due diligence across the business.
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to support the development and execution of our global strategies for advancing human rights and environmental due diligence across our worldwide grocery operations and supply chains.
The ideal candidate is a great communicator, and brilliant at influencing beyond their team. They are adept at simplifying complex problems, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to align on solutions, defining goals and work streams, and securing resource as required. They go the extra mile to earn trust and do so via clear, precise communication, including with senior leaders. While they insist on the highest standards, they prefer progress over perfection. They have experience remaining managing high-profile and sensitive conversations with senior leaders and remain calm while moving fast. They are also great at project management, holding disparate stakeholders to account to key milestones to ensure results are delivered on key goals.

Quickly learn about and understand the grocery business and dive deep into their unique needs, risks, and social impact opportunities.
