About Sr. Program Manager (PR), Amazon miniTV

  Description

  Amazon is shaping the future of digital video entertainment in India. We seek a Sr. Program Manager (Public Relations) who can help us scale Amazon miniTV – our new mobile-first video, free ad-supported streaming service for Amazon in India. Over the next few months, we plan to launch a large number of exclusive shows and new content. Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses, including: Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, Echo, Alexa and Kindle. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about digital media.

  We are looking for a strategic leader, who can help build the PR program for Amazon miniTV’s exclusive new content, and be responsible for managing the overall program including working with mainstream, digital, entertainment and A&M publications. He / She will work internal teams i.e. business, marketing and content teams closely to build and execute this program.

  As a Program Manager in the PR team, you will work towards building a fleshed out program strategy for the various shows based on their potential, work with agencies to build a plan, and measure impact. You are required to identify new and most optimal channels that area frugal and most effective, to help build the Amazon miniTV brand.

  Key job responsibilities

  From a day to day perspective, you will:

  Lead PR program planning based on show type and work on a plan and how to drive media traction through the show promotion period. In addition to new shows, the program leader will also need to define strategies to build strong narrative for the service as well as with advertisers

  Handle PR campaign strategy and development, including working with content partners and key star cast

  Be comfortable working with multiple stakeholder teams internally and externally to deliver on objectives

  Measure results and learnings that we can incorporate in next campaigns

  Find ways to improve reach across channels

  Work with cross functional teams and share best practices

  Stay abreast of competitor traction, trends, and identify new opportunities

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Mumbai, MH, IND

  Basic Qualifications

  7+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  Experience working in a matrixed organization

  Strong experience of working in entertainment, advertising or media industry. Enjoys strong relationships with media houses, digital and offline publications.

  Preferred Qualifications

  MBA
