Job Description Function and Team Summary
Visa is seeking an accomplished Sr. Product Manager with a passion for technology and innovation, and a desire to shape the future of payment products. The role is part of the Embedded Finance team that is focused on launching a new Visa service, called Visa Flexible Credential, with a global reach, an engaging user experience, innovative platform features, and of strategic importance to Visa.
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the product vision, strategy, roadmap and commercialization plan for this new service. As a deep product and technology expert, this role will collaborate closely with other product managers, solution architects, engineering, product delivery, and regional / GTM teams.
Key responsibilities include determining the product strategy and vision, establishing product-market fit, developing and executing the product roadmap, implementing product commercialization plans and assets, and ultimately, driving the successful launch of new products and features. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent product management skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions for complex user and technical problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In alignment with Technology and Regional teams, as well as other Product Managers, develop product strategy and vision for new products and experiences. Develop and articulate product vision, product positioning, market differentiation, value proposition and benefits in ways that resonate with key audiences, use-cases and markets. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Visa’s capabilities and ability to apply them to client's business challenges. Work closely with regional teams to understand trends, competitive landscape, and shape strategic direction of the product. Own the product roadmap as well as prioritization of Epics and features, collaborating with regional teams as well as solutioning partners to ensure roadmap is aligned to GTM and client pipeline priorities. Develop detailed product and functional requirements, as well as user stories and acceptance criteria for all roadmap items. Drive development and launch of features with Technology teams. Represent the product, features and functionalities in internal and client or partner socialization sessions. Identify opportunities to solve client and consumer needs with existing functionalities as well as solutioning for newly desired functionalities. Determine product-market fit, develop and support product commercialization (GTM) plans and assets to bring to market successful products Work closely with internal and external product and partner teams to ensure alignment on goals and scope, plan critical path and operational risks, and ensure transparent communication. Monitor competitive activities and rationalize Visa activities. Understand the trends and competition to deliver compelling messages that effectively position our offerings for client’s and Visa’s success. Provide thought leadership in strategy and planning, content and messaging, and measurement and analysis areas. Cultivate net new and unique insights from a combination of expertise in product area, internal feedback, external feedback, and market research to provide perspective to the team and product management leaders to inform insights and decisions. Energize the team, using creativity to deliver new products and processes that surpass clients’ expectations, overcome obstacles, demonstrating new methods, capabilities, and mindsets.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Strategy, GTM or product experience with core payment solutions, preferably in both sides of ecosystem.Experience solving complex problems creatively, utilizing analysis, influence, communications, and strategy.Experience commercializing complex B2B solutions, developing financial models and business cases.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.Experience driving outcomes in heavily matrixed, global and fast-paced environments, ability to lead by influence. Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.Ability to work autonomously with ongoing supervision from manager and leadership.Passion for bringing great products to market. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142,300.00 to 185,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
