About Sr. Product Manager - Tech, AWS Managed Operations, AWS Managed Operations

  Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud provider, providing virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services to customers all over the world. Our services scale to staggering levels, are highly distributed, and are really fun to work with.

This team is redefining the way AWS designs, builds and operates. As part of providing a powerful, flexible and secure foundation for managing AWS regions, we are building a new centralized operations product.

We are seeking a deeply technical Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and product roadmap for our enterprise operations products. As a Sr. Product Manager – Technical, you will define the vision for how we evolve fundamental user experiences, from our customer’s initial onboarding experience to features that streamline the daily work of our customers’ administrators and end users. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from working with external and internal customers to making roadmap tradeoffs and delivering revolutionary new features and functionality that improve the customer experience. The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and influence across teams spanning AWS Managed Operations, and beyond to bring that vision to life.

  Key job responsibilities

As a Sr. PM-T, you will drive our strategy, and product roadmap for enterprise cloud operations products. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from requirements gathering with key customers and stakeholders through delivering products to those customers. You will develop and execute product launch strategies, and create compelling product messaging that resonates with customers. In addition, you will lead launch activities, relentlessly dive deep with customers and AWS teams, author and present data-driven narratives to AWS leadership, and more. You will truly understand what it means to operate, build, and grow a business.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders to align across a singular vision to provide customers with a consistent product experience

Experience communicating clearly and effectively to influence across cross-functional teams
