About Sr. Product Manager, Special Projects

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  Amazon is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class product. Our organization rewards intellectual curiosity while maintaining the direct to market product focus.   We are looking for a candidate who will have a passion for building businesses and driving the successful launch of a new product. This position requires strong customer centric strategic planning, analytical skills, problem solving and excellent communication skills. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. Being self-driven, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities is a key to success.

  Key job responsibilities

  • Research customer needs and market development

  • Develop differentiated product strategy, vision, and roadmap

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, UI/UX on product definition and features implementation

  • Work closely with all stakeholders to optimize the launch plan for a new product

  • Manage designing and implementing a customer solution that is simple and trustworthy

  • Provide business insights and analytics that help define the initiative and track progress

  • Develops strategic and operational plans, manages execution, and measures results by thinking strategically and holistically across a project

  • Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Seattle, WA, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  Experience with end to end product delivery

  Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  Experience as a product manager or owner

  Experience owning technology products

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
