As a Senior Product Manager, you will contribute to and build strategies for Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management, VMware's intelligence-driven digital workspace platform. To do so, you'll work cross functionally with our amazing engineers, designers, fellow product managers, and our customers. Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management is deployed by some of the largest brands on the planet, and you'll be working closely with them to drive enablement, adoption, and awareness.
The highly collaborative role requires an individual with exemplary leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen, to drive success across a multitude of teams and disciplines. The role requires passion for building outstanding products that customers love to use, great empathy for customer challenges, willingness to do what it takes to help the field grow the business, and the ability to align teams to a common vision.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
• 1st Day: You've had a great first day, met your manager and a couple of your peers who've welcomed you to the company and answered any burning questions you have. You also have a nice new computer setup!
• 1st Week: You have a good sense of our product development practices and shadowed some sessions to see it work in practice. You have learned about our customers, tools, techniques, and role within VMware. You're more integrated into the wider Product Management practice and understand how you're a critical part of that.
• 1st Month: You're caught up on the Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management product, the existing user experience, product functionality and our roadmap focus areas. You are actively participating in scrum activities. Your Engineer and Designer teammates are excited to collaborate with you.
• 1st Quarter: - You've made amazing improvements to your PM skills! You've contributed to the product roadmap decisions for the next quarter and have written technical requirements in close collaboration with engineering and user experience. You've set metrics to track the success of your product decisions. You've paired with your manager to create goals aligned to your career and development interests. You have the support and resources at hand to go on that journey. You've spoken to and started to build relationships with our customer facing teams, and customers themselves.
• 1st Year: You've succeeded in shipping a lot of valuable software! You're a trusted advisor for Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management for our customer facing teams and customers themselves. You've participated in marketing efforts and briefed multiple customers on our roadmap and product direction. You track the consumption of our products and have defined our product direction for the next year to meet our north star metrics. You've become an active member of our diverse PM community!
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but daily life at EUC may have you doing many or all the following:
• Work directly with customers, field teams, and partners to understand the issues and opportunities not currently addressed.
• Collaborate/Pair daily with client Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to solve complex problems in uncertain environments using a combination of their domain knowledge and your skills.
• Perform research, brainstorm solutions, and help guide product direction. Balance opportunities and business needs while keeping stakeholders aligned and supportive.
• Facilitate software demos, stakeholder check ins, and other key meetings virtually or in-person.
• Collaborate with our product and technical marketing teams to showcase new product releases to drive awareness and adoption.
• Learn new skills and grow in your own career while contributing learnings back to others in our Product Management practice so we can all grow and thrive together.

Preferred Skills
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management in the B2B enterprise space.`
• Experience delivering solutions for enterprise customers within the End User Computing market is a plus.
• Prior experience with endpoint management technologies is a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 10% time.
• BS in Computer Science or related technical field with MS or MBA a plus.
