You are deeply committed to contributing value to our customers. In an agile structure you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to establish the standards for your area and influence the strategic decisions, solution development and work priorities, based on your expertise and experience. The successful candidate will create the squad mission, strategy, and execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities. Candidate will interact with Business Users and will help align the squad to broader strategic decisions and roadmaps. Help set and refine the squad mission and bring together a team of chapter members to execute on user prioritized product improvements. Constant refinement of the "what" and "when" work will be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. By staying connected to industry trends, you can bring the latest thinking to our squads to enhance our product solutions.
This position will be open to any location with a combination of both in office and remote working, manager discretion.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Proven experience working with Agile teams and a detailed understanding of Agile SCRUM principles (business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, end user certification).Knowledge of fundamentals of the investment front, middle and or back office operations 3 5+ years working experience with a majority in investment management, broker dealer, Technology & Data focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing o improve the value delivered.Phenomenal ability to grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these.Proven focus on execution and an ability to identify, communicate and remove impediments to progress.Capability to lead, influence, and empower colleagues (both local and global) without formal authority, and a track record of building hard-working teams. Encouraging continuously improvement and an agile way of working, adopting servant leadership behaviors and approach. Ability to establish and maintain unquestioning relationships as you work multi-functionally across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach.Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus.Working experience in Agile environment is a must.Ability to design products with agile principles.Innovative mindset to contribute and deliver new ideas and solutions.Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and data mining skills are needed.Exposure to Oracle, and ability to write simple SQL queries.Software Java, Angular, AngularJS, Ionic4, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and Spring.Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON APIs is needed.TDD, CI/CD, and Automating the regression testing skills.Containerization and AWS exposure.
