The Last Mile Privacy Team's mission is to ensure that individuals are never surprised by the data we collect, process, and share. Our team is seeking a Technical Program Manager with deep experience in working with engineering and development teams to build privacy centered services and drive critical team objectives.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that Amazon complies with all worldwide privacy laws and regulations
Find opportunities to reduce, anonymize, aggregate, and restructure customer/driver data to ensure that only the most critical customer data is stored on Amazon's servers
Work with product managers to design privacy and customer choice into our products
Collaborate with Business, Engineering, and other internal teams to solve business needs
Be expected to be familiar with system development cycle and key performance metrics
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control
Be expected to dive deep into the technical details of the program
About the team
The Last Mile Privacy team delivers Last Mile wide privacy programs to meet regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with Amazon policies. We implement mechanisms to promote the delivery of safe and trusted products by and for our customers, including but not limited to Amazon customers and drivers.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
3+ Experience working within a privacy compliance function
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
CIPP or Privacy Engineering Certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
