　　Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr Principal Technical Editor/Writer. This position will be located at our Defense Systems sector in our preferred location Orlando, Florida, Huntsville, AL; DC metro area and other major sites. May consider telework as an option but quarterly onsite meeting may be required.

　　Responsibilities:Work with capture teams to research, develop, and document solutions in preparation for proposalsIndependently gather information from existing material and subject matter experts. Work with teams to convert complex documentation to proposal material that's easy to understand and scoreIn response to Requests for Proposal (RFP), outline, write, and edit in accordance with Request for Proposal instructions and evaluation criteriaWork with graphics artists to design material that communicates complex material efficiently and effectivelyWork with proposal managers/teams effectively. Deliver all materials on schedule to meet all milestone, review, and submission deadlines.Basic Qualifications: At least 10 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree; or 8 years experience with Master's Degree. In lieu of formal degree, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 14 years of relevant experience as a technical writer and/or proposal related roles.Proven working experience in technical writing in support of competitive DoD, Intel, and/or Federal proposals including OTAsAbility to grasp a variety of complex technical domains and make them easy to understand in writing and in graphicsStrong knowledge of MS Office applicationsAbility to travel 25% of the time, CONUS and OCONUSPreferred Qualifications:Degree in writing/communications and/or technical degree in engineeringExperience as a proposal analyst, proposal manager, volume lead, or cost strategistExperience writing Basis of EstimatesStrong knowledge of Sharepoint, TeamsExperience with proposal tools such as Visible Thread, Meridian, etc.Experience in digital engineering, modeling, and related disciplinesActive DOD (Department of Defense) security clearanceSalary Range: $86,300 - $136,600

　　The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

　　Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
