Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior PKI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Microsoft PKI, hardware security modules (HSM), SSL certification management (Venafi), and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS). As a Senior PKI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's Public Key Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Microsoft PKI Management:
Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft PKI solutions to meet organizational security requirements.
Manage and troubleshoot Certificate Authorities (CAs) within the Microsoft PKI framework.
HSM (Hardware Security Modules):
Deploy and manage hardware security modules to enhance the security of cryptographic operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSM solutions into the overall security architecture.
SSL Certification Management (Venafi):
Oversee SSL certificate lifecycle management using Venafi or similar tools.
Implement best practices for securing SSL certificates and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS):
Administer and maintain AD CS infrastructure to support secure communication within the organization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to certificate services in an Active Directory environment.
Security Best Practices:
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in PKI and cybersecurity.
Implement and enforce security policies to safeguard cryptographic keys and digital certificates.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate PKI solutions into broader security initiatives.
Document PKI architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a PKI engineer with a focus on Microsoft PKI, HSM, SSL certification management, and AD CS.
Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and key management.
Experience with Venafi or similar SSL certificate management tools.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
