We are in search of a Security Specialist (Triage Area) to be a core member of the Intelligence Group. You will review, analyze and process all Continuous Evaluation/Continuous Vetting (CE/CV) electronic reports for investigators and process Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) reportable alerts that are initiated by the agency population. This position is contingent upon contract award.
What you'll be doing:
Complete processing of all security reportable as defined with the triage plan: two working days for high risk, 10 working days for medium risk, and 30 calendar days for low risk.Address any limitations with meeting the metrics in PWS Section 4.4, Security Specialist Area - Personnel Security, with the Branch or Division Chief.Review and analyze polygraphs as they come from our internal partner for investigator assignment.Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system of record.Identify any outstanding actions on a weekly basis to the government Team Lead.
What does Leidos need from me?
Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required. Candidate will be subject to a Polygraph examination.Minimum of 11 years of experience in related field with particular emphasis on financial/security investigations and/or adjudications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient with Microsoft 365.
Favorable if you have:
Strong background in OPM Background Investigations/or Adjudication; investigative experience; (e.g., personnel security, counterintelligence, or law enforcement) at the local, state, or federal levels.Completion of the ICD-704 Adjudications Course, Security Fundamentals Security Certification (SFPC) Certification.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
