National Vision is currently looking for Senior Paralegal Litigation to join our growing team!
The Sr. Paralegal - Litigation has responsibility for management of Company litigation, claim investigation and case support, as well as oversight of litigation hold and other recordkeeping processes. The position works closely with other members of the legal team providing support on administrative claim and litigation matters in addition to coordinating with insurance claims managers and outside counsel.The Sr. Paralegal – Litigation provides support and coordination on immigration matters
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
Responsible for litigation and other legal matter management, legal hold orders, e-discovery, witness interviews, and information/document collection.
Works with and oversees outside counsel to respond to and defend lawsuits, administrative actions, demand letters, and other claims asserted against the Company.
Conducts all aspects of initial investigation, including identifying and contacting witnesses, conducting search/gather of documents/information, identifying privilege and other issues, and organizing/maintaining documents/information.
Coordinates and manages all aspects of discovery through outside counsel.
Creates, disseminates, and manages legal holds.
Performs research and provides initial case assessments.
Reviews, analyzes, and summarizes legal documents such as pleadings and orders.
Under limited supervision, drafts responses to pre-litigation demands, consumer complaints, and agency inquiries.
Reads, interprets, and analyzes statutes, regulations and procedures.
Creates and manages case management database to track material information and data to ensure proper case handling and report key metrics.
