Position Summary
Aetna Medicaid’s Growth & Strategy team is responsible for the pursuit of new Medicaid lines of business, expanding existing business, and market development. Through market intelligence, research, and engagement, the Growth & Strategy team understands the needs of state Medicaid markets and applies this to a growth strategy with the goal of expanding the Medicaid business.
The Senior Manager will be a strategic and critical thinker who enjoys getting into the details while also understanding the bigger picture. They support the Growth & Strategy leaders by project managing the work that is completed in each market and keep activities on track while maintaining documentation. They will partner with many areas of the organization while keeping our members, providers, programs, and benefits top of mind at all times.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end project management function for Medicaid markets
Document all aspects of market activity
Serve as a back-up leader for workstream meetings
Conduct research related to Medicaid business both new and existing Medicaid markets
Manage relationships across Aetna Medicaid related to market growth
Develop work plans, meeting minutes, and presentations related to Medicaid Growth & Strategy
Manage project progress and communicate with stakeholders related to deliverables
This position is remote from anywhere in the United States.
Required Qualifications
5+ years project management background with proven track record for delivery
1+ years Medicaid experience
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification
Experience with Microsoft Office application including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-starter and problem solving skills with minimal guidance
EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $149,300.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
