TE organizes its business into three segments (Industrial Solutions, Transportation Solutions, and Communication Solutions) and 10 Business Units. This role is part of the HR Business Partner Team for the Energy Business Unit, within the Industrial Solutions Segment.
The HR Business Partner – Americas Region reports directly to the Senior HR Director of the Energy Business Unit and assists our Leadership Team in the Americas Region. The role should ideally be based at the Energy BU site in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina alongside the majority of the Americas leadership team.
Given the regional responsibility the role will have a heavy emphasis on driving talent priorities across the region, connect the teams, define the right talent priorities, and drive a talent culture that enables both business and people growth.
ROLE FOCUS
Serve as a HR partner to senior leadership and drive the talent agenda to deliver on organizational and functional talent objectives and outcomes
Works closely with BU Head of HR, Business Leaders and respective HR Business Partners to lead specific functional talent/ culture priorities
Drives organizational effectiveness and articulate areas of opportunities. makes recommendations based on available HR and business analytics
Drive organizational culture, engagement & inclusion towards TE values and leadership vision, creating a healthy balance between business performance and people engagement.
Lead performance management process and annual HR calendar in efficient manner (development planning, regular feedback conversations, calibration)
Drive and advocate for a “One-HR Operating Model” and ensure seamless execution and delivery to the business by driving stakeholder alignment and articulation of “customer” expectations and needs.
Manage and ensure the cadence for HR life cycle and talent management programs for the global functions
Leverage Energy BU talent management processes and TE Organizational Leadership Review (OLR) and succession planning to assist the business.
Drive key talent development plans to strengthen the talent pipeline for all critical positions including stretch assignments, coaching, or mentoring programs, professional & leadership training to retain and develop talent
Drive employee engagement through effective communication, programs, and alignment to development and growth opportunities
Be the voice of employee in balancing the business needs with needs of employees so the business runs as effectively as possible
Utilize various two-way communication tools to motivate employees to become involved and foster an inclusive, empowered, and collaborative culture.
What your background should look like:
Bachelor’s degree or above; HR related major preferred
A minimum of 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in large global matrixed environment.
Minimum 5+ years as global or regional HR Business Partner related experience required
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to diagnose issues and drive appropriate solutions.
Prior HR specialist experience in one or more functional areas of Human Resources (HRBP, Talent Management, Compensation, Staffing, etc.).
Coaching, counseling, and influencing of business leaders in the areas of organization
development, employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, and career development.
Managerial courage; self-confident and able to act as role model of company values.
Experience with project management, continuous improvement, and must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to present confidently across the organization.
Facilitation and project management aptitude plus presentation, analytical and communication skills are required
High personal credibility, confidentiality, relationship building and influencing skills are all essential

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$140,480 – $210,720K (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
