Job Summary
NetApp is looking for an experienced marketing technologist with hands on experience with enterprise AI storage solutions. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience creating impactful technical content suitable for a wide range of audiences including technical experts, architects, application owners, and executives. The Technologist has unique insight into how target audiences use technology to perform their tasks and how NetApp Products, Solutions, and Services support our customers. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required including demonstrated success presenting to audiences of all sizes. The ability to take complicated content and create a story easily understandable by a wide range of audiences is highly desirable. We need someone with technical depth, as you will be working in close alignment with peers in Corporate Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Product Management, and Solution Engineering organizations. You will be part of a fast-moving organization with highly motivated cross organizational team members who tackle challenging and impactful problems in the AI space. This IC position is highly visible and will require leadership, frequent communication, and interactions with various levels across the entire NetApp organization up to General Managers.
Responsibilities
You will lead projects and be accountable for project deliverables working with cross-functional and business unit teams You will support sales enablement efforts to help NetApp field teams and partners get comfortable & confident with NetApp AI solutions Work closely with leadership team, Product Management, Corporate Marketing (AR/PR, Revenue Marketing, Content Marketing), external Alliance Partners, and Sales teams to ensure alignment across the organization Provide data-driven and meaningful metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and highlight important wins Establishing yourself as a Subject Matter Expert in specific technologies across departments while continuing to build your expertise with ongoing internal and external education Create and present technical presentations to customers and partners and gather feedback to influence product and solution offerings You will be responsible for developing technical collateral in your focused areas of technical expertise which may include technical presentations, blogs, demos, technical reports, and white papers You will work directly with customers and partners & speak at industry events as needed and will be seen as a leading evangelist for the relevant products, solutions, and integrations across the portfolio. You will collaborate on strategy with the AI solution team and product management to supporting marketing plans and required content to deliver on said plans
Job Requirements
Understanding and competence in AI, cloud, compute, and data storage architectures Presence on social media and engagement in relevant communities is expected Extensive experience in the AI ecosystem (cloud and on-premises) and related personas such as data scientists is highly preferred Organized with great attention to detail and the ability to write and express complex ideas clearly Strategy focused and goal oriented, with excellent project management and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and quickly execute high quality work Proactive, with the ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities Self-motivated, energetic and agile with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisions and share meaningful metrics Quick learner in a complex and technically minded environment
Preferred Qualifications
Competency in presenting and public speaking with leadership team, analysts, and customers Understanding of the data storage competitive landscape within the AI industry 12+ years in solution/product marketing or related field BS in Engineering or comparable background

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $156,420-$218,130. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
