Job Description Position Summary
Visa Direct is an exciting payment service that Visa provides to clients (including issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, remitters and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to cards, accounts, and wallets around the world using push payment technology, (i.e. Original Credit Transactions, OCTs) and partner payment rails. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g., payments to landscaper), funds disbursement (e.g., insurance claim disbursements), bill payment, cross-border remittance and more.
This role will report into the Head of Global Sales Operations & Strategy for Visa Direct. This team sits at the cross-section of sales and product with a mandate to accelerate growth for Visa Direct across the world. The Sr. Manager, Visa Direct Sales Training will be tasked rolling out comprehensive sales training for the Visa Direct Sales Organization, from new hire onboarding to reinforcement and recertification trainings for existing sellers.
This role will be responsible for Visa Direct sales training in all 5 regions Visa operates in. We will be working in a fast paced, agile environment, so this person must be proactive and excel with cross-functional partners to ensure we achieve our goals.
Essential Functions
Content Development – Use design expertise, business acumen, and influencing skills to design, curate and build the most impactful learning solutions across product and selling skills, collaborating closely with our Visa Direct learning team. Be adept at both designing learning programs as well as providing strategic direction for work done by external providers. Ensure training content stays relevant and up-to-date on central storage platforms. Priority sales training deliverables include:
New Seller Onboarding – provide new sellers with the right foundation to understand the full product suite of Visa Direct, how Visa Direct fits in with other Visa products and services, and how to sell Visa Direct effectively
Existing Seller Accreditation & Recertification – ensure existing sellers continue to follow sales best practices and have the right foundation of product knowledge to represent Visa Direct in the best light to clients
Ad-hoc Sales Training – as changes to process/product occur throughout the year and/or we identify new training needs, develop new sales training courses to address these needs
Represent the voice of the seller – Collaborate with global and regional business partners within Visa Direct Sales to determine strategic learning needs of the organization. Develop an overall, long-term learning strategy and implementation plan for the business that will drive more efficient sales onboarding and improved sales performance
Communication strategy for Sales – Evaluate and develop effective and sustainable communication channel for sales. Objective is to provide an accessible source of product updates, notable information to share with clients, and new sales enablement materials that are relevant for sales to leverage
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 173,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
