Since PAXLOVID's emergency use authorization on 12/22/21, this COVID-19 asset has helped treat over 15M patients at high-risk from progression to severe COVID-19, which can lead to hospitalization and/or death. Now that PAXLOVID is FDA approved and commercialized in the U.S., this novel protease inhibitor is positioned to remain the gold standard in COVID-19 treatment, despite competitive entry expected Q1 2025. Significant opportunity to bolster PAXLOVID's leadership position in the marketplace continues, as new clinical and RWE data, label indications, and administration routes are all anticipated throughout 2024.
The U.S. PAXLOVID Senior Marketing Manager will report directly to the U.S. PAXLOVID HCP Team Lead and partner with Global, Medical and other stakeholders to evolve and execute PAXLOVID's congress strategy, field force engagement resources, and peer-to-peer speaker program remit. This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment because of SARs-CoV-2 virus mutation and shifting peaks and troughs of COVID-19 infection rates. It also requires ongoing cross-functional collaboration, synthesis of meaningful insights to influence HCP behavior, and strong agency partnerships to help meet accelerated timelines.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Position may require some evening and weekend work around critical milestones and/or occasional travel (e.g., congress coverage, team meetings or workshops). Role does not cover every congress in the 2024 plan. The PAXLOVID team divides and conquers coverage for 10+ congresses in the plan.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
