Position Summary
Sr. Manager (IC) - Technology Strategy & Business Operations
CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Sr. Manager - Technology Strategy & Business Operations, part of the Technology Services and Solutions (TSS) organization. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing strategic objectives in partnership with VP, Infrastructure Operations and Service Delivery, and Executive Director of Strategy Leader for the Technology Services and Solutions (TSS) organization. You will lead strategic alignment, communications, facilitate decision-making across the team, and ensure efficient execution of our strategy & key initiatives. You will also drive organizational efficiency, operational improvements and provide program updates while serving as a liaison with other program managers, chief(s) of staff, and leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program/project management, and effective communication, coupled with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards successful project outcomes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong business & technical acumen, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partner: Collaborate closely with the Strategy leader and Vice President for the respective TSS Tower to develop, communicate, execute the team's strategic initiatives.Collaboration: Serve as key liaison and collaborate with Strategy & Ops leads and cross-functional teams within TSS and DDAT and other internal Planning functions e.g. Finance, HR etc. on Strategy, planning and execution rhythm of the business and operational excellenceExecutive Support: Serve as the primary point of contact and provide high-level support to the VP, including prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely follow-up on key issues.Program/Project Management: Lead or support critical projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely execution. Track progress and report on key performance indicators.Communication: Develop and disseminate clear and effective communication materials, including executive presentations, reports, and memos for both internal and external stakeholders.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with leaders, cross-functional teams, and other program managers to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and present data to support decision-making processes, identify trends with quantitative and qualitative insights and recommendations, and drive continuous improvement efforts.Problem Solving: Act as a key problem-solving resource for the VP, helping to address complex issues and challenges within the organization.Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead meetings, and set agendas ensuring that discussions are productive, action items are documented, and decisions are followed through. Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve. Required Qualifications .Proven experience in a strategic role, such as Strategy, Product and/or Business Operations or Chief of staff, within a technology organization.Understanding of technology concepts as they relate to large enterprises. Previous IT/HighTech experience highly valuable, deep understanding of IT hardware/software/services markets, trends.Strong program/project management skills with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in data analysis and creating presentation materials.Ability to quickly understand a complex enterprise function in a highly matrixed organization.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in business administration, information technology, or a related field or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Master's degree in technology or business preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$120,750.00 - $240,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
