The Amazon Stores Security team is responsible for protecting Amazon’s information assets. We partner across Amazon’s Stores business units to build and monitor a secure environment for the Amazon business, software and data. We provide security “In the Cloud” and enable scalable mechanisms for software developers and systems to meet Amazon’s security and privacy requirements. We are both a customer and a partner to AWS in raising security awareness, providing scalable tools, and protecting shared infrastructure.

Stores Security Team's Healthcare security organization is looking for world class security-minded Technical Program Management Leader who can design, drive and launch security initiatives that positively impact healthcare security at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with security engineering leaders and TPMs in Healthcare Security and Amazon's Healthcare business teams to build and lead security risk management and governance programs.
• Establish credibility as a trusted security advisor to stakeholders, including engineering leaders, peers, and employees.
• Partner with key stakeholders to drive implementation of security-related technical and process controls to remediate risks identified during engagement.
• Drive improvements to our third party services security program.
A day in the life
This position within the Healthcare Security organization represents a rare opportunity to get in with a fast-growing Amazon Healthcare business. You will help shape the security risk management strategy for this exciting business. You will partner with security engineering managers, other TPMs and engineering teams to lead identification, assessment, prioritization, and governance of risks. You will continue to raise the security bar of services in production and ensure that there are mechanisms and metrics to improve and measure security. You will drive improvements in our security assessments, automation and threat intelligence of first- and third-party services that we use to deliver the customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge in secure software development, deep experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and ability to hold a high security standard.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing security engineering, risk, or governance teams
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
10+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
5+ years of software development or security engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $155,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $302,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
