You will be at the forefront of connectivity, working on a collaborative, agile team that develops connectivity-enabling solutions for products across Collins AerospaceYou will provide technical leadership in systems and project engineering, developing approaches to standardize execution across the teamYou will oversee the end-to-end project engineering process from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring seamless development of hardware and softwareYou will identify opportunities for process improvements within systems engineering and project engineering to streamline development and enhance efficiencyYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce improved methodologies to increase our competitiveness in the marketYou will mentor and coach skill development and proficiency, ensuring team members are equipped for the challenges of this complex environmentYou will drive accountability for schedule commitments and quality standardsYou will develop approaches for efficient resource allocation, task prioritization, and risk management to optimize project timelines and outcomesWhat YOU will learn:
You will build expertise in how airlines utilize data to optimize their operations, as well as how connected-component use-cases affect everything from passenger experience to maintenance operations.You will learn the existing capabilities of the Collins Enablement Products portfolio and influence next generation of products and features based on industry demand.You will learn about numerous products across Collins Aerospace as they integrate connectivity solutions into their product and feature sets.You will develop yourself as a strong leader by leading a global and distributed team; building strong relationships in the broader Collins and CAS ecosystem.Education & Experience:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experienceQualifications you must have:
Proven experience in systems engineering and project engineering from conceptualization to deliveryExperience developing processes and approaches to standardize execution across a teamFamiliar with hardware and software development methodologiesFamiliar with connectivity and "internet-of-things" concepts and general understanding of use-cases.Skills we value:

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience.
