  Job Description At Visa, our incredibly talented people drive the continued success and growth of our business. As a People team, our mission to recruit, engage, grow and empower that talent is now more critical than ever. 

  One of our top priorities this year is to transform our People function with a strategy, structure, and automated systems to better fuel Visa’s growth goals. Our Transformation team are the creators, innovators and engineers of this effort. 

  This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the People Team Transformation as well as the People Team Accelerator, a team of resources dedicated to rapidly shaping and executing highly complex, strategic projects within the People Team.

  The Senior Manager will be a key member of the team and will support developing and executing global, high-impact initiatives that are aligned to People Team Transformation priorities. Example projects include enhancing our People Team operating model and improving workforce planning. This role will drive true business value by working on the most pressing business issues identified by People Team Leaders.

  This is an individual contributor role that will report to a Director on the Accelerator Team, but will operate in a matrixed reporting environment. The role will work with a variety of stakeholders and functions across the People Team and have frequent interaction with People Team Transformation leadership.

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

  8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications:

  9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDExperience in consultative role, defining ambiguous problems for multiple stakeholder groups, and ability to reprioritize work when needs changeExperience with the project management lifecycle, is action and output oriented – rapidly works towards initial work product and iterates, is a self starterDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, and achieve desired resultsExperience communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders both in written and oral settingsAbility to quickly accrue knowledge in unfamiliar subject matter and turn into actionable project initiativesExperience in Human Resources Strategy, or project focused business role. HR Transformation experience and HR knowledge are a plusCan analyze multiple data sets, extract relevant insights and synthesize informationStrong interpersonal communicator and collaborator in team-based environmentStrong Excel, PowerPoint skills Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

  Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

  Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

  U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,700.00 to 155,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
